Recent Activities

March 14 (2024) The first lecture meeting in 2024 sponsored by the Tokyo Section TPC, co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo took place on Thursday, March 14th, from 16:20 to 17:30 at the Kikai Shinko Kaikan, 6th floor, Room 66. The speaker was Mr. Hidenori Kimura, Vice Director of the System Innovation Center and Emeritus Professor at the University of Tokyo and Osaka University. The topic of the lecture was “The Science of Automation: Evolution of Technological Advancements.” Forty-five IEEE members attended the event.
March 14(2024) 2024 LMAG-Tokyo’s Annual General Assembly was held onsite at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan from 14:10 to 14:40 on Mar. 14.  The participants were 44 IEEE members . All the agenda were approved.

March 8(2024) Online Coffee-break organized by IEEE Tokyo/Shin-etsu WIE to celebrate International Women’s Day was held online on March 8th from 12:00 to 13:00. Three members from LMAG-Tokyo  participated.

Dec. 22 (2023)

A lecture meeting, hosted by the IEEE Tokyo Section TPC and co-hosted by the LMAG Tokyo, took place on December 22nd (Wed) at 3:00 PM. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with a physical presence at the Kikai Shinko Kaikan and an online conference via Zoom Webinar. The speaker was Dr. Akihiko Kandori (Research Director, Fundamental Research Center, Hitachi, Ltd.), and the lecture was titled “Viewing the World of Electrical Activity in Living Organisms with High-Sensitivity Magnetic Measurement (with a Focus on Medical Applications).”

Nov. 21 (2023)

A lecture, organized by the IEEE Tokyo Section TPC and co-hosted by LMAG Tokyo, took place on November 21, 2023 (Tuesday) at the Kikai Shinko Kaikan (on-site) and online. The lecturer was Dr. Itsuro Morita (Professor, Department of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University). The lecture topic was “High-Capacity Optical Fiber Communication Technologies Supporting Diverse Communication Services.” A total of 81 participants attended, with 15 on-site participants and 66 online participants, including 44 IEEE members.

LMAG-Tokyo submitted a JAMSTEC technical tour report to the special issue of R10 Newsletter  on IEEE Day Events.

Oct. 24 (2023)

A lecture meeting hosted by TPC and co-hosted by LMAG of Tokyo Section was held on Oct. 24, 2023, 15:00-16:30, at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan in a hybrid manner with 80 participants (including 70 online participants).  Prof. Hideaki Ishii, Department of Computer Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology, delivered a talk “Cooperative Control of Large Scale Network Systems”.

Oct. 22 (2023)

Dr. Sugie, LMAG-Tokyo Secretary, participated in the 20th IEEE TOWERS as a Judging Committee member on Oct. 22 (Sun).

Oct. 4 (2023)

LMAG and TPC of IEEE Tokyo section co-hosted  a technical tour (with a lecture meeting) to the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) in Yokosuka city on Oct. 4, 14:00 – 17:00 with 23 participants.  The event was part of IEEE Day activity.

Aug. 29 (2023)

Tokyo Section TPC and  LMAG co-hosted a lecture entitled “Making Robots Smarter by Learning Humans: Understanding, Reproducing and Synthesizing Anthropomorphic Motions ” from 15:00 on Tuesday, August 29th. The lecturer was Dr. Eiichi Yoshida (Professor, Department of Functional Design Engineering, Faculty of Advanced Engineering, Tokyo University of Science). There were 85 participants (including 56 IEEE members) and 77 online participants.

Aug. 5 (2023)

“The IEEE Humanitarian Activities Workshop in Japan 2023” hosted by IEEE SIGHT Tokyo and co-sponsored by Tokyo LMAG,  was held on August 5, 2023 at 13:30-16:30 at Yokohama Hatoba-Kaikan and online. There were 72 participants (53 IEEE members, 8 LMAG members, and 35 online participants), including LMAG-Tokyo Chair N. Ohta, Vice Chair H. Hayashi, and Secretary T. Sugie.

Aug. (2023) LMAG-Tokyo  contributed an article to August 2023 issue of
IEEE Life Members Newsletter which reported a technical Tour “Railway Museum/JR East R&D Center” held on Dec. 14(2022).
June 27 (2023) The 6th lecture meeting of IEEE Tokyo Section sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo and cosponsored by the TPC was held online at 15:00-16:3o on June 27, 2023. The lecture was given by Dr. Shiho Moriai (Director General, Cybersecurity Research Institute, NICT ) on “Cybersecurity Trends and Cutting-Edge Measures – NICT’s Efforts to Strengthen Cybersecurity in Japan.The number of participants was 137 including 82 IEEE members and 39 LMs.
June 26 (2023) The 5th lecture meeting of IEEE Tokyo Section sponsored by the Tokyo Section’s TPC and  co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo and IEEE Hiroshima Section was held in a hybrid manner (onsite and online) at 15:00-16:30 on June 26th, 2023. The lecturer was Prof. Shaoying Liu and the title was “Formal Engineering Methods: Bridging Formal Methods and Software Engineering” . The number of participants was 46 including 28 IEEE members.
May 25 (2023) The 6th Evening Salon was held in a hybrid manner (on-site and online) on May 25, 2023, from 16:00 to 17:30 sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo and co-sponsored by Tokyo section TPC, YP, and Tokyo/Shin-etsu joint section WIE.  The event was a salon-style meeting entitled “An introduction to how to enjoy Wine~From the aspects of History, Science, and Culture~ given by Professor Emeritus Iwao Sasase, Keio University (Japan Sommelier Association Certified Wine Expert). The number of participants was 57 (On-site 25, On-line 32).

May 25 (2023) The 5th LMAG-Tokyo officer meeting was held at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan on May 25, 13:00-14:00 with three officers. The agenda included the planning of Lecture Meetings and technical tours.
April 25 (2023) LMAG-Tokyo’s Newsletter No. 37 was published on April 25, 2023.
April 19 (2023) A lecture meeting hosted by IEEE Japan Council IPC, and co-hosted by the TPC and LMAG of Tokyo Section was held in a hybrid manner (on site at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan and on line) on April 19, 15:00~16:30. The talk was “Cognitive RF Systems: Using AI to Solve Complex Problems” and given by Dr. Karen Haigh (IEEE AESS DL). The participants were 33 (on site) and 61 (on line).
April 19 (2023) The 4th LMAG-Tokyo officer meeting was held at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan on April 19, 12:50-13:30 with three officers. The agenda included the planning of evening salon and technical tours.
Mar. 17 (2023) The 3rd Board Meeting of LMAG-Tokyo was held at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan at 15:30-16:20 on Mar. 17 with 3 participants. The agenda included LMAG-Tokyo’s activity such as lecture meeting, Award nomination and technical tour planning.
Mar. 17 (2023) The first lecture meeting was held online hosted by the TPC of Tokyo Section and co-hosted by LMAT-Tokyo at 16:20~17:30 on Mar. 17. The lecturer was Dr. Suguru Kito of Kioxia Corp. There were 43 people participated (20 on line) . 
Mar. 17 (2023) 2023 LMAG-Tokyo’s Annual General Assembly was held in a hybrid manner (online and onsite) at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan at 14:10 – 14:40 on Mar. 17.  The participants were 16 (onsite) and 14 (online). All the agenda were approved.

Feb. 7 (2023) The second Board Meeting was held online at 14:15-15:45 on Feb. 7 using Zoom with 5 participants. The agenda included LMAG-Tokyo’s activity for 2023 including lecture meetings and technical tours.
Jan. 17(2023) Welcome messages to new 83 Life Members in Tokyo section were sent out from LMAG-Tokyo Chair jointly with Tokyo Section Chair.
Jan. 4 (2023) The first Board Meeting (2023) was held at 14:00-15:30 on Jan. 4, using zoom (online) to discuss LMAG-Tokyo activities in 2023.
Dec. 21 (2022) A Board Meeting of LMAG-Tokyo was held at 14:00-15:30 on Dec. 21 in Kikai Shinko Kaikan. All officers participated in the meeting to review 2022 activity and discuss future plans.
Dec. 14 (2022) A technical tour to the Railway Museum and JR East R&D Center was held at 13:00 – 17:30 on Dec. 14 in Ohmiya. The event was hosted by LMAG-Tokyo and co-hosted by the TPC of Tokyo Section. The number of participants was  19 (including 18 IEEE members).
Dec. 13 (2022) A lecture meeting hosted by the TPC, Tokyo Section and co-hosted by LMAG-Tokyo was held on line (Zoom Webinar) 15:00-16:30 on Dec. 13. The lecture was given by Atsuo Takanishi (Prof. School of Creative Science and Engineering, Waseda Univ. ) on “Humanoid Robotics and Its Applications”.   The number of participants was 42 (including 36 IEEE members).
Dec.  10  (2022) Tokyo Shin-etsu joint WIE hosted  an event “Red Carpet  Ceremony 2022” at Tango (The Place of Tokyo), 11:30-13:30 on Dec. 10.   The participants were 21 in number including WIE members and guests (including children).
Nov. 12 (2022) LMAG Kansai held a ceremony celebrating its  10th anniversary at 15:00 – 16:30 on Nov. 22 (Sat)  at Central Electric Club in Osaka city and online. LMAG-Tokyo officers, Chair Imai (on site)  and Vice Chair Ohta (online) participated in the event.

Nov. 12 (2022) LMAG-Tokyo supported an event “Women in Engineering 2022” hosted by IEEE Tokyo/Shin-etsu Joint Section WIE held on Nov. 12 in “National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan)” and on-line using Zoom. LMAG-Tokyo members participated in the event.
Nov. 2 (2022) A lecture meeting “Involved in research and development of video coding” was held on line from 15:00~16:30 on Nov. 2, 2022, using Zoom Webinar, hosted by the TPC, IEEE Tokyo Section, and co-hosted by LMAG-Tokyo. The lecturer was Dr. Seishi Takamura, Professor, Dept. of Digital Media, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Hosei University. Dr. Takamura talked on his long experience with video coding R&D. The number of participants was 39 (including 34 IEEE members).
Nov. 1 (2022) A lecture meeting on “Wireless AI:A New Sixth Sense to Deciphering our World” was held on Nov. 1, 2022, in Hongo Campus, Univ. of Tokyo and online (a hybrid manner). The number of participants was 25 (on site) and 68 (online).
Oct. 26 (2022) LMAG-Tokyo hosted a technical tour to ANA Maintenance facility in Haneda co-sponsored by the TPC, IEEE Tokyo Section, on Oct. 26 2022. The 35 participants enjoyed the hangar tour very much.

Oct. 7,8 (2022) Metro Area Workshop(MAW) 2022 and Japan SYWL + Industry Workshop 2022 organized by IEEE Shikoku Section  were held in a hybrid manner in Tokushima University on Oct. 7 and 8, 2022. From LMAG-Tokyo, Dr. Imai, Chair, and Dr. Ohta, Vice Chair participated on site.

Oct. 6 (2022) Lecture Meeting “Research on Green Multicore Architecture and Its Power Reducing Parallelizing Compiler) was held on line from 15:30~17:00 on Oct. 6, 2022, using Zoom Webinar, hosted by the TPC and co-hosted by LMAG, both of IEEE Tokyo Section. The lecturer was Dr. Hironori Kasahara, Professor, Dept. of Computer Sci. & Eng., Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University.  He talked on his 40 years of research on parallel processing for achieving green (low-power dissipation) multi-core computer architecture and its power reducing parallelizing compiler and his dream for the future. The number of participants was 55 (including 44 IEEE members).
Sept. 29 (2022) LMAG-Tokyo hosted a technical tour to JAXA Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (Sagamihara Campus) and a lecture meeting from 14:00~16:00, on Sept. 29 (Thu). The event attracted 29 participants. The participants enjoyed exhibitions on Japanese history and the latest results of space and astronautical science followed by a lecture given by Dr. Tatsuaki Okada on the initial analysis results of the returned samples from asteroid Ryugu.

Sept. 19 (2022) LMAG-Tokyo co-sponsored a Webinar (Paper Writing Workshop) hosted by IEEE Tokyo Section YP/EP on Sept. 19 16:00~ 17:30 with more than 60 participants. The lecturer was Dr. Akihiko (Ken) Sugiyama
Aug. 31 (2022) IEEE Tokyo Section YP/EA hosted a webinar entitled  “Voice, Speech, and AI” cosponsored by LMAG-Tokyo on Aug. 31, 17:30-18:30.  The speaker was Dr. Kong Aik Lee from Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore.
Aug. 26(2022) A lecture meeting hosted by the TPC and co-hosted by LMAG of IEEE Tokyo Section was held online from 15:30~17:00 on Aug 26 (Fri). The lectures on “R&D of On-Chip High-Voltage Generator,” and given by Prof. Toru Tanzawa (Shizuoka University).
Aug. 24(2022) A technical tour to KDDI Yamata Transmitting Station was held on Aug. 24 hosted by LMAG-Tokyo and the TPC of IEEE Tokyo Section. The participants (26) enjoyed to see how they operate and maintain the system with large scale curtain antennas for international short-wave broadcast.

Aug. 12 (2022) LMAG-Tokyo supported IEEE Tokyo YP/EA Webinar entitled “Deviation from the standard — toward opening up 6G telecommunications.” The flyer is here.
July 27 (2022) A lecture meeting hosted by the TPC and co-hosted by LMAG of IEEE Tokyo Section was held online from 15:30~17:00 on July 27 (Wed).  The lecture was on “Nonlinear fiber optics and their applications to communications.”  The speaker was Shu Namiki, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology(AIST). The number of participants was 53, including 42 IEEE members (12 life members) and 11 guests.
July 13 (2022) A lecture meeting sponsored by LMAG and co-sponsored by the TPC of IEEE Tokyo Section was held on-line at 15:00 – 16:30 on July 13, 2022, The title was “Artificial Photosynthesis: State of the art and Future Prospect.” The lecturer was Haruo Inoue, Emeritus Prof. Tokyo Metropolitan University. The number of participants was 55 (including 46 IEEE members and 9 guests).
June 30 (2022)

 

A lecture meeting sponsored by the TPC and co-sponsored by LMAG of IEEE Tokyo Section was held at 15:00 – 16:30 on June 30, 2022, on line. The title was “Technology review of Cu interconnects for VLSI and Atom switch for industrial application” and the lecturer was Munehiro Tada, a recipient of an IEEE Fellow in 2019.  Altogether 54 people (including 37 IEEE members) attended the meeting.
June 14 (2022) Evening Salon Extended (No. 5) sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo and co-sponsored by the TPC of IEEE Tokyo Section was held at 15:00-17:00 in a hybrid manner. The lecturer, Tadashi Takano, an IEEE Life Fellow, talked on a topic: “Space tourism is now going to start: What should we do in Japan?” He introduced and shared the present status and issues of space tourism in the world. After a short break, participants enjoyed discussions on what to do in the future from a variety of viewpoints such as reuse of manned space ship, special cloths design for passengers, communication systems required for space tourists and so on. Altogether 98 people (83 online and 15 on-site) participated in the event including 31 Life Members.

June 7 (2022) IEEE Japan Council hosted a Webinar (IEEE Engineering Spotlight) on the recent hot topic “A Big Adventure and Result of Hayabusa2”.  A Life Member of LMAG-Tokyo supported the planning of the lecture.
June 4 (2022) A Webinar “IEEE Region 10 and You” sponsored by Tokyo Section YP, co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo was held on June 4. The speaker was Deepak Mathur, Director of IEEE Region 10.
April 25, 2022 LMAG-Tokyo Newsletter No. 34 was published. (Newsletter No.34)
March 12, 2022 IEEE Tokyo Section Educational Activities (Tokyo EA) conducted a Webinar entitled “My Personal Journey with IEEE” at 10 – 11 AM. LMAG-Tokyo co-sponsored this event. The speaker was Susan K. (Kathy) Land, past IEEE president.
March 10, 2022 LMAG-Tokyo 2022 General Assembly was held online and all reports and plans were approved. The number of participants was 26.

Dec. 19, 2021 LMAG-Tokyo co-sponsored a Webinar “5G and beyond– The insider story” held on Dec. 19, 2021, from 11:00~12:30, organized by IEEE Tokyo Section Educational Activities Committee. Lecturers were Dr. Yufei Blankenship and Dr. Ajit Nimbalker. Detailed information is available here.
Dec. 15, 2021 A lecture meeting on “Looking back on Power Electronics research and development” sponsored by Tokyo Section TPC and co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo was held on line from 10:00 -12:00 on Dec. 10, 2021. The lecturer was Prof. Toshihisa Shimizu (Tokyo Metropolitan University, IEEE Fellow 2017). The number of participants was 52 including 42 IEEE members.
Dec. 10, 2021 The award ceremony for 2021 IEEE Life Members Affinity Group Achievement Award was held from 11:00 to 12:00 on Dec. 10, 2021 in a hybrid fashion at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan and online (Zoom Webinar). To congratulate LMAG-Tokyo, 25 invited people participated in the ceremony onsite, 5 were invited online from oversea and other 20 people attended online to cerebrate LMAG-Tokyo. Dr. Toshio Fukuda, past IEEE President, presented the plaque to Dr. Hajime Imai, chair, LMAG-Tokyo.

Dec.7, 2021 We submitted an article on the 4th Evening Salon of LMAG-Tokyo to R10 Connect – Jan 2022 Issue. 
Nov. 18, 2021 The 4th Evening Salon on “Current Status of SiC Power Devices” was held onsite at 6-66 meeting room in Kikai-Shinko Kaikan at 15:00 – 17:00 on Nov. 18. The event aims to offer a place where all participants exchange their opinions on the provided topic freely while eating and drinking. The lecturer was Dr. Digh Hisamoto, IEEE Fellow, Technical Adviser, Research & Development Group, Hitachi Ltd. The event went very well and 17 participants enjoyed face-to-face discussions on the topic.

Nov. 4, 2021 A lecture meeting  was held on Nov. 4th. 2021, from 15:00 to 16:30 online. Prof. Hajime Asama of the University of Tokyo gave a talk on “Research on Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems and Its Development”. The number of participants was 55 including 48 IEEE members. 
Oct. 6, 2021 A lecture meeting “Heterogeneously Integrated Membrane Photonic Devices) was held at 15:00 ~ 16:30 on Oct. 6, 2021 on Zoom Webinar sponsored by TPC and LMAG of Tokyo Section. The lecturer was Dr. Shinji Matsuo (NTT). The number of participants was 137 including 80 IEEE members.
Sept. 25, 2021 A lecture meeting “Artificial Intelligence, Big-Data Processing and their applications” was held at 13:00~16:30 on Sept. 25, 2021, using Zoom Webinar sponsored by LMAG Tokyo and LMAG Sendai, and co-sponsored by TPC of Tokyo Section . The participants were 219 including 131 IEEE members and 31 LMAG members in number.  The following 3 lectures were given: 

Lecture (1):   “Neocognitron: Origin of Deep Convolutional Neural Network” by Dr. Kunihiko Fukushima (Fuzzy System Laboratory)

Lecture (2):  “Fujitsu’s Artificial Intelligence Research for Bringing Credibility to Society”  by Dr. Akira Nakagawa (Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Fujitsu)

Lecture (3):  “Possibilities and Challenges of Medical Big Data for Artificial Intelligence Applications” by Dr. Kengo Kinoshita (Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University)

Sept. 18, 2021 LMAG-Tokyo officers participated in the R10 LMAG Meet of 2021 online on Sept. 18. After the greetings from Mr. Asthana, R10 LMAC Chair, representatives from 13 LMAGs shared their activities and experiences. 
Aug. 6, 2021 A lecture meeting “Challenges and Future Vision of the Electric Power System” was held on Zoom Webinar sponsored by IEEE Tokyo Section LMAG and co-sponsored by the TPC at 15:00~ 17:00 on Aug. 6. The lecturer was Dr. Horoshi Okamoto, Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning at TEPCO Power Grid. The participants were 163 in number.
July 8, 2021 A lecture meeting “Contributions to a Sustainable Future through Power Electronics~Road to the first Japanese female IEEE Fellow in heavy industry~” sponsored by IEEE Tokyo Section TPC and co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo was held on Zoom Webinar at 15:00 – 16:30. The lecturer was Dr. Noriko Kawakami from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp. The participants were 83 in number.
June 23, 2021 LMAG-Tokyo sent out letters to all Life Members of the section to solicit applying for senior member grade from both chairs of LMAG and MDC of Tokyo Section. If you have any inquiry about the application procedure, please do not hesitate to contact the office.
June 9, 2021 A lecture meeting “Research and developments of communication antennas over fifty years” by Dr. Ken-ichi Kagoshima sponsored by IEEE Tokyo Section TPC and co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo was held on Zoom Webinar at 15:00 – 16:30. The participants were 146 in number.

April 22, 2021 The 4th LMAG-Tokyo board meeting was held online at 13:30~15:00 where issues on future activity plans were discussed. There were 6 participants, Dr. Imai, chair, Dr. Ohta, vice chair, Dr. Hayashi, secretary, Dr. Shigematsu, Tokyo Section secretary, Ms. Nishida  and Ms. Kato.
April 3, 2021 The 3rd LMAG-Tokyo board meeting was held online on at 15:30~16:30 where issues on future activity plans including vTools, award submissions, lectures,  newsletters were discussed.
March 25, 2021 Lecture Meeting “On the receipt of IEEE Innovation in Social Infrastructure Award and our current efforts on University Education” was held in a hybrid manner at Kikai-Shinko Kaikan at 16:15 ~ 17:45. The speaker was Dr. Masaru Kitsuregawa, Professor, The University of Tokyo. The participants were 66 in number.
March 25, 2021 LMAG-Tokyo Board Meeting #2 was held  right after the AGA where action plans for 2021 activity were discussed.

March 5, 2021 A commemorative lecture meeting  on IEEE Milestone awarded to NTT Corp. was held online at 11:00 – 12:00 sponsored by IEEE Tokyo Section TPC and co-sponsored by LMAG-Tokyo. The IEEE milestone was “Physical Contact Push-Pull Technology for Fiber Optic Connectors”. Two lectures  were given. The participants were 271 in number.
March, 2021 An article on LMAG-Tokyo’s 10th Anniversary Symposium (held on Oct. 8, 2020) was published in  the LMAG Reports section of IEEE LMC E-Newsletter Vol.2, No. 1, March 2021.
Feb. 19, 2021 The first board meeting of LMAG-Tokyo was held at Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan to discuss 2021 action plans. There were 6 participants, Dr. Takano, past chair, Dr. Imai, chair, Dr. Ohta, vice chair, Dr. Hayashi, secretary, Dr. Shindo, secretary, Dr. Shigematsu, Tokyo Section secretary and Ms. Kato. Some members participated in the meeting online using zoom.
Feb. 16, 2021 An article entitled “All JC LMAGs Meet Online” was submitted to R10 Newsletter April Issue. The meeting was held online on Dec. 18, 2020 and organized jointly with four LMAGs (Kansai, Nagoya, Sendai and Tokyo) for the first time. The article in R10 Newsletter.
Feb. 1, 2021 An article on LMAG-Tokyo’s 10th Anniversary Symposium (held on Oct. 8, 2020) was submitted to March Issue of IEEE LMC e-newsletter.
Jan. 15, 2021 Welcome messages to new Life Members in Tokyo section were sent out from chairs of Tokyo Section and LMAG-Tokyo.

About IEEE LMAG-Tokyo

An IEEE Life Members Affinity Group is a local Unit of an IEEE Organizational Unit, constituted by IEEE members who have obtained Life Member status and established by petition, and concerned to represent and fulfill the needs of the local IEEE Life Members. A Life Members Affinity Group functions in a manner similar to that of a Committee of the Section.
IEEE Life Members Affinity Group Tokyo Section is the first LMAG in Japan Council founded in 2010.
