About IEEE MTT-S Japan Chapter
IEEE MTT-S Japan Chapter Member
The IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (formerly the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society) (MTT-S) Japan Chapter was established as one of regional organizations of MTT-S in 1958. The Japan Council was founded in 1999. After that, IEEE MTT-S Japan Chapter was operated under Japan Council. IEEE MTT-S Kansai Chapter (Kansai area) was established under IEEE Kansai Section in December 2006, and IEEE MTT-S Nagoya Chapter was also founded under IEEE Nagoya Section (Tokai / Hokuriku area) in February 2010.
IEEE MTT-S Japan Chapter now consists of MTT-S members belonging to Sapporo Section (Hokkaido area), Sendai Section (Tohoku area), Tokyo Section (Kanto area), Shin-Etsu Section (Shin-Etsu area), Hiroshima Section (Chugoku area), Shikoku Section (Shikoku area), and Fukuoka Section (Kyushu area).

supports students and young researchers in elevating their professional image, and expanding their global network.
