2006 Meeting Schedule ¨The third meeting : Friday September 8 at Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. ¨The forth meeting : Friday December 15 at IVYHALL Aogaku Kaikan Year 2006 First Meeting of Chapter Operations CommitteeThe First Meeting of the IEEE Japan Council Chapter Operations Committee of 2006 was held on June 23 (Fri.) from 2:00pm at Aogakukaikan, Tokyo. Forty-nine members were participated. The action plans and the annual budget in 2006, and the financial reporting in 2005 of the Japan Council were presented by the Secretary and Treasurer. The action plans and the annual budget in 2006, and the financial reporting in 2005 of the Chapter Operations Committee were explained by the Chair and Secretary and approved. The activities from December 2005 to May 2006 were reported by each chapter. Region 10 Annual General Meeting 2006Region 10 Annual General Meeting 2006 was held in Chiangmai, Thailand on 26-27th March 2006. Tsutomu Sugawara, Executive Committee Member, attended the meeting from Tokyo Section. Delegates include guests and representatives from IEEE head quarter, Region 10, Council and Sections, and total number of official attendee was 87. The meeting was very successful and it reflected importance of Region 10 in IEEE.
