Progress of ICT and Necessary Attitude Towards Globalization

■ Abstruct：

The progress of ICT in these half century and its future directions
will be presented from the viewpoints of a researcher engaging in the R&D works over 45 years
and as the chair of NHK's International Broadcasting Program Advisory Committee.
The expectation to young researchers and engineers will also be addressed,
referring my international standards and enlightenment activities.
