Summery F
The IEEE Milestone, which was founded in 1983, has recognized 100 milestones by 2010 including 14 milestones in Japan.
Milestone is a program of IEEE which honors the historical achievements of innovation
in the field of electricity, information and communication, and which contributed for regional society or industrial development for more than 25 years.
The first award in Japan is the Yagi-Uda Antenna.
And also the Technical Tour which has been planned by Life Members Committee
is an attempt to know more deeply about the technical community including Milestone.
The first Technical Tour took place for a week in Panama Canal, in March, 2010.
And the second tour of next year is under contemplation in the U.K..
These Milestones and Technical Tours can gave us the deeper knowledge about IEEE activity.
Moreover, it can help to appeal History of Technology in Japan to the World,
and to participate in the IEEE International Technical Forums are also encouraged.
This lecture will be explained about the circumstances and direction.
