IEEE Photonics Society Japan Chapterでは，若手研究者の研究活動を奨励するために，IEEE Japan Councilの 支援のもと，若手研究者を対象とした賞を授与してきました．今年は， 4月25日～4月27日までの期間，京都で開催されたAPMP 2012（2012 Asia-Pacific Microwave Photonics Conference）において，Kansai Chapterと共同でYoung Scientist Awardの授与を行いました．
授賞式は，4月26日(木)のAward Ceremonyの中で行われました． 受賞者は以下の通りです．
