The 2013 Second Lecture of Tokyo Section
The 2013 Second Lecture of IEEE Tokyo Section was held in Symposium Space, Raiosha, Hiyoshi Campus, Keio University. About 100 participants attended this lecture.
In this lecture, Mr. Wael Diab, Vice Chair of the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group, presented a discussion about the various technologies, interfaces, and segments that have come up Ethernet. Also, topics on emerging Ethernet technologies were introduced, including projects working on energy efficient enhancements, new access markets, higher speed Ethernet and interfaces for automotive applications. This lecture was cosponsored by Student Branch of Keio University, Tokyo GOLD and Japan Council WIE. Discussions were very active and creative.

IEEE Tokyo Section and LMAG Tokyo held the Commemorative Lecture and Discussion Meeting for Professor Emeritus Y. Okumura's NAE Charles Stark Draper Prize Winning in cosponsorship with IEICE Tokyo Section at Toranomon Campus, Kanazawa Institute of Technology, on July 12, 2013.
