IEEE Tokyo Section's Year 2007 General Assembly
The IEEE Tokyo Section's Year 2007 General Assembly was held at IvyHall Aogaku Kaikan from 2:00pm on March 19(Mon.), 2007.
29 members were participated.
Year 2006 business report, financial report and Year 2007 action plans were reported.
2007 annual budget proposals were discussed and approved. Celebration Ceremony for 2007's FellowsAfter the General Assembly, there was a celebration ceremony for newly selected IEEE of Fellows in 2007. 9(out of 12) new IEEE Fellows in the Tokyo Section attended the ceremony. Each new Fellow was introduced by the citation, announced by Tokyo Section Vice Chair Tai, and honored by the presentation of the Radio-Controled Alarm Clock with IEEE logo, handed by Section Chair Aoki. They gave the audience rejoicing speeches on aspirations and resolution for further efforts in their professions either in research or in business. From 5:10pm on the same day, a congratulation party for new IEEE Fellows was held at the same hall to honor their achievement and to intercharge between them. The invited lecturer was Dr. Yoshitaka Asakura(Chief examiner, Toyota motors corporate Development generalization room). , Toyota Corporate received 2007 IEEE Corprate Innovation Recognition Award.
